BOOKER T. BOOKS TRUCKERS AS HIS NEW BACKING BAND
Soul great BOOKER T. JONES has garaged his MGs for the DRIVE-BY TRUCKERS.
The Green Onions hitmaker has recruited the Drive-By Truckers as his backing band for an album of new instrumentals.
And rocker Neil Young plays lead guitar on the album, titled Potato Hole.
Booker T. and the MGs backed Young on his 2002 album Are You Passionate?.
The new album features covers of Tom Waits' Get Behind the Mule and the Drive-By Truckers' own Space City.
