POP STAR SMITH FOUND DEAD

Former SWEET SENSATIONS star LEROY SMITH has been found dead at his Manchester, England, home.

The body of the Jamaican keyboardist, 56, was discovered in his apartment in Longsight, Manchester, above the takeaway food shop owned by the star.

It is believed Smith died of natural causes brought on by a bout of bronchopneumonia.

The British soul band scored an international hit in 1974 with Sad Sweet Dreamer.
