Country music legend LITTLE JIMMY DICKENS is recuperating in a Nashville, Tennessee hospital after undergoing brain surgery to remove a blood clot.
The Country Music Hall of Fame member, 88, was diagnosed with a subdural hematoma, and received surgery on Tuesday (13Jan09).
Dickens was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1983 and recently celebrated his 60th anniversary as a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
The singer has found fresh success through his regular musical collaborations with Brad Paisley.
