CHASEZ BLASTS BASS' BOYBAND COMEBACK PLANS

Pop star J.C. CHASEZ has blasted former 'N SYNC bandmate LANCE BASS for raising fans' hopes for a boyband reunion.

The Bye Bye Bye singer has spoken out about comments Bass made about a possible comeback, insisting there has been no talk of such a thing.

Bass sparked reunion rumours in November (08) when he told America's In Touch magazine, "It's a definite possibility. We are like brothers - it's perfect.

"There is talk of (me) putting an album together next year, but I would much rather do it with 'N Sync. So we are going to be talking about that."

But Chasez is baffled by his former bandmates claims, telling internet blogger Perez Hilton, "We haven't discussed anything like that... I can't speak for him or as to why he would say that, but I know nothing about one (reunion)."
