MAYER LANDS VARIETY TV SHOW
Singer JOHN MAYER has landed his own variety TV show.
John Mayer arriving at the 'Marley & Me' world premiere at the Mann's Village theatre, Los Angeles, California - 11.12.08
The guitarist is planning a pilot episode for U.S. network CBS.
CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler reveals, "It'll be a music variety sketch show."
Tassler refuses to divulge any specifics on Mayer's show, but admits it could end up being "just be a series of specials".
She adds, "We're just going to shoot the pilot now and see what we have and make a decision after that."
