LEWIS BOTTLES SWEET SMELL OF SUCCESS

British singing sensation LEONA LEWIS is set to bottle the sweet smell of success - the BLEEDING LOVE hitmaker will release a self-titled scent later this year (09).

The singer, who has enjoyed a meteoric rise to fame since winning the U.K. talent show The X Factor in 2006, is preparing to create a brand empire to cement her place in showbusiness.

Lewis has teamed up with German beauty giant LR to create the eponymous fragrance in a bid to take part of the marketplace created by rival singers Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Lopez - who all have numerous perfumes under their belts.

And the star is ecstatic at the prospect of fans being able to buy her beauty products.

She says, "I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to work on such an exciting project.

"I am passionate about what I do and it is important for me to give the best I can to my fans all of the time. I love my new fragrance and I already love LR."
