A Los Angeles anti-gang worker has been arrested on suspicion of robbing and beating BONE THUGS-N-HARMONY rapper BIZZY BONE.
Bone, a founding member of the rap group, was attacked by a group of individuals after returning to his hotel following a night at a restaurant, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The rapper, real name Byron McCane, was reportedly confronted by several men who beat and choked him before making off with his jewellery.
L.A. cops arrested Marlo Jones in connection to the assault; he is a contract worker for the city's anti-gang organisation Unity One, who work with gangs and the LAPD in a bid to reduce inner-city crime.
According to authorities, a 30-year-old is being held on $1.1 million ($733,000) bail. They are currently seeking other male and female suspects.
