WINSLET DROPS OUT OF WESTWOOD MOVIE

Hollywood actress KATE WINSLET has reportedly dropped out of a planned movie on the life story of British designer DAME VIVENNE WESTWOOD.

The Titanic star was allegedly in talks to play the fashion mogul in an upcoming biopic planned by Universal movies.

But Winslet is now said to have scrapped plans to appear in the film, amid rumours that Westwood was unhappy with the choice of leading lady.

A source tells British newspaper The Mail on Sunday, "Kate's people are saying she was never formally committed to the project but there are whispers Dame Vivienne didn't want Kate playing her. In fact Vivienne doesn't seem keen on the film being made at all."

Westwood has already spoken of her disdain for the movie project, insisting she "doesn't know what is happening, but hopefully they (Univeral) will drop it."
