BECKHAM FOR BIG BROTHER?

Soccer star DAVID BECKHAM is reportedly in talks to star in an Italian reality TV show after moving to Milan to play for a top club.

Beckham, who is signed to Los Angeles Galaxy, will spend ten weeks in Italy on loan to AC Milan soccer club, and bosses at the organisation, which is owned by Italian prime minister and media mogul Silvio Berlusconi, have reportedly lined up a series of promotional deals for the star.

And the plan is said to include an appearance on the Italian version of hit reality show Big Brother.

A source tells British newspaper the Daily Star Sunday, "Beckham is very high profile and to get him on Big Brother would be a ratings winner. All the high profile players are on light entertainment shows during the season. Most of the shows are on Berlusconi's Mediaset empire. And as Berlusconi owns AC Milan, Beckham will be expected to turn out on one programme at least - almost certainly Grande Fratello (Big Brother)."

Beckham made an appearance at the club on Saturday (20Dec08) ahead of his stint in Europe.
