Pop star PAUL SIMON is going back to school - he has been appointed to the board of trustees at the U.S.'s prestigious Berklee College of Music.
The Boston, Massachusetts institute announced on Thursday (18Dec08) that Simon would be joined by director and Spinal Tap star Christopher Guest.
The pair already hold honorary doctorates from Berklee, and Simon has two scholarships in his name.
