BLOGGER WHO LEAKED GUNS N' ROSES TRACKS PLEADS GUILTY

The blogger who leaked tracks from GUNS N' ROSES' forthcoming CHINESE DEMOCRACY album has pleaded guilty to violating copyright laws.

Kevin Cogill hit the headlines this summer (08) when he put nine unreleased tracks on his website Antiquiet.com.

The group's lawyers forced him to pull the tracks down and he was hit with copyright infringement charges.

He admitted his guilt in a Los Angeles court on Monday (15Dec08) but has not publicly stated how he received the tracks, reports the Associated Press.

Cogill will face up to a year behind bars, as well a period of probation and a large fine.

Guns N' Roses' long-awaited new album was released on 23 November (08).
