DMX HID OUT AT WANTED PRODUCER'S HOME

Rapper DMX was arrested at the house of fugitive hip-hop producer SCOTT STORCH, it has emerged.

A bench warrant was issued for DMX's arrest after he missed a court appearance in Arizona on Friday (05Dec08), where he was due to face charges of drug possession, identity theft and animal cruelty.

FBI agents tracked down the star - real name Earl Simmons - on Tuesday (09Dec08) at a mansion on Palm Island, off the Florida coastline, belonging to wanted hitmaker Scott Storch.

A warrant was issued for Storch's arrest earlier this year (08) after he failed to appear at a child-support hearing, but it remains unclear if the 34-year-old was present when the authorities apprehended Simmons.

Simmons' lawyer Bradford Cohen tells XXL, "(DMX) got picked up at Scott Storch's house this afternoon. I don't know if Scott Storch was home at the time."

Simmons - currently behind bars in Miami-Dade County jail - is scheduled to appear in bond court on Wednesday morning (10Dec08), according to Cohen.
