GALLAGHER CAN'T DRIVE

OASIS rocker NOEL GALLAGHER has clocked up just nine miles on his vintage Jaguar - because he still hasn't learned how to drive a car.

The guitarist splashed out $163,200 (GBP110,000) for the vehicle, and while he calls it one of his prized possessions, he admits he has only used it to travel along the private land at his U.K. home.

He says, "The most ridiculous thing I've bought is a Jaguar Mark 2 Inspector Morse car. Never had a license (to drive). Never had a lesson. It sits in the garage. It's got about nine miles on the clock.

"I've got a gateway that's a quarter of a mile long and I've driven it up and down the drive."

And Gallagher insists he would rather leave his car untouched than take a dreaded driving theory test: "If that's what it takes, I'll go buy a horse."
