SPEARS TO LIGHT UP LOS ANGELES

BRITNEY SPEARS is set for a double Christmas celebration after reportedly agreeing to switch on L.A. Live's first holiday display.

The pop star, who ushered in the holiday season at Rockefeller Center’s Christmas tree-lighting ceremony in New York on Wednesday (03Dec08), was scheduled to light up downtown Los Angeles on Thursday night (04Dec08) as WENN went to press.

L.A. Live’s Light of the Angels is a production that combines a million lights, holiday music and a massive steel tree sculpture.

Natalie Cole will also perform at the holiday event.
