KINGS OF LEON STAR'S ANOREXIA BATTLE

KINGS OF LEON frontman CALEB FOLLOWILL has spoken of his battle with anorexia as a teenager.

The singer admits he struggled with weight issues when he was younger, despite never being overweight.

And Followill reveals he went to extraordinary lengths to shed the pounds - living on cups of coffee and forcing himself into a gruelling exercise regime.

He says, "I always thought that I wasn't good enough. I'd do anything to keep my hands and mouth busy without eating."

The star is adamant that he has now beaten the condition and is concentrating on looking after his body.

He adds, "I want to look like I can defend myself. I want a guy to look at me in a bar and know he can't talk s**t to me or run me over - even though he probably could."
