GRAN'S LIQUOR LOVE BROUGHT M.I.A. AND BOOZE HEIR TOGETHER
Hip-hop star M.I.A. believes her late grandmother brought her and fiance BENJAMIN BREWER together from beyond the grave - because she liked to knock back his family's liquor.
Brewer is the heir to the Seagram's beverage fortune, and M.I.A. admits her gran was fond of the brand's Martell cognac.
She says, "She was, after all, Seagram's number one customer."
M.I.A., real name Mathangi Arulpragasam, is expecting Brewer's baby in February (09).
