Vanity Fair's post-Oscars party is back on after it was cancelled earlier this year (08) because of the Hollywood writers' strike.
The glitzy bash, which the Oscar winners and Hollywood heavyweights attend after the Academy Awards, will be held on 22 February (09) - but it won't be quite the lavish affair it has been in past years, due the world economic crisis.
Magazine editor Graydon Carter insists the 2009 party, to be held at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood, will be "a much more intimate affair".
Carter also reveals party planners will recycle decor from past years to keep costs down.
