British girl group the SUGABABES have threatened to boycott next year's Brit Awards unless they receive an award.

The hit trio have sold 5.5 million albums since they started in the pop industry nearly a decade ago, garnering six U.K. number ones along the way.
But the Push The Button hitmakers, who have changed their line-up three times, have still failed to be honoured with a Brit Award - an annual ceremony which celebrates the best of British music.
And the stars, Keisha, Amelle and Heidi, are sick of being ignored - and are refusing to attend future Brits events if they fail to notch up a nomination at the event in February (09) - despite U.K. prime minister Gordon Brown admitting to being a fan of the band.
Keisha says, "I say this in the most humble way but when you think about pop bands the Sugababes are definitely up there. I'm proud that Gordon Brown is recognising us, but why not the Brits?
"We're British for God's sake and we've done well. Surely we've deserve an award after all the hard work we've done?"
Amelle says, "I'm telling you, if they don't nominate us this year, that's it, I'm done. I'm not going."
And the 24-year-old has called for the Brits bosses to be fired - insisting they are out of touch with popular music.
She adds, "They should sack all those old men on the board and leave it up to the fans to decide. They don't know what they are talking about."
