ESTELLE FIXES TEETH FOR GRAMMY GLAMOUR

R+B star ESTELLE is so convinced she will win a Grammy Award next year (09) she has had braces fitted on her teeth - so she can show off a dazzling smile when she receives her gong.

The American Boy singer has been desperate to get her crooked grin straightened since she was a teen, but was too frightened by the thought of pain to visit the orthodontist.

But the star finally plucked up the courage to have her teeth aligned - so she'll be able to flash her new grin at the high profile award ceremony in February.

Estelle tells British talk show GMTV: "I don't like pain... I'm such a wuss. I've decided to get them (braces) because I figure that I'll try and get some Grammys next year, and I want to smile and not be like, 'Oh God, my teeth!'"
