PARAMORE WIN TOP WOODIE

Pop punks PARAMORE claimed the top prize at Wednesday's (12Nov08) MTVu Woodie Awards in New York.

Paramore at Warner Music Group post-Grammy party to celebrate the 50th Annual Grammy Awards held at Vibiana - Arrivals. Los Angeles, California - 100208

The band scored the Woodie of The Year at the college music prizegiving.

Other winners included Motion City Soundtrack (Video of The Year Woodie for It Had To Be You), Atmosphere (Performance Woodie), Chromeo (Left Field Woodie) and Jack's Mannequin (Good Woodie for charitable work).

Cool Kids, Santogold and Vampire Weekend were among the performers at the event.
