MINOGUE SET TO BE AXED FROM X FACTOR?

DANNII MINOGUE is set to be dropped from British talent show X FACTOR, according to new reports.

An insider for the show claims that Minogue's days are numbered because "she no longer serves a purpose."

The 37-year-old Aussie, who mentors the over 25s on the show, won't be asked to return for the next series, according to reports in the Daily Mail newspaper.

And a source tells Britain's Heat magazine, "Dannii was brought in to be the younger counterpart to Sharon (Osbourne), but since Cheryl Cole arrived, she has replaced Dannii in that role and become much more popular."
