HUDSON'S RELATIVES REMEMBERED IN MEMORIAL

Oscar-winner JENNIFER HUDSON's late mother, brother and nephew will be remembered on Sunday (02Nov08) at a memorial service in her hometown of Chicago, Illinois.

The singer/actress' mum, Darnell Donerson, and her brother, Jason Hudson, were found shot to death at their home last Friday (24Oct08), while the body of seven-year-old Julian King was discovered three days later in an abandoned car in the city.

Friends and relatives of Hudson are set to gather at her childhood church, Pleasant Gift Memorial Baptist, where the victims will be remembered.

William Balfour, the estranged husband of Hudson's sister Julia, is being quizzed by police over the slayings, but authorities have yet to file any charges against him.

A spokesperson for the actress has confirmed Hudson and her sister will not be in attendance.

Funeral services are scheduled to be held on Monday (03Nov08).
