COLE HITS THE ROAD WITH DIALYSIS MACHINE

Singer NATALIE COLE has returned to work just one month after kidney failure left her fighting for her life.

The star, 58, checked herself into a New York hospital in September (08) after a setback in her battle with liver condition Hepatitis C.

Now, with help of weekly kidney dialysis, Cole is back on the road - and she insists she's happy and healthy.

She says, "I feel sturdy and strong. And my voice is still here! It's almost like a miracle because (the treatment) didn't affect my (singing).

"I've never been through anything like this. I've never been this ill. (But) I love what I do so much. I just keep going. Not much can bring me down. It feels great to be back."
