A millionaire homeowner has won his battle for compensation over damage caused during the filming of DANIEL CRAIG movie FLASHBACKS OF A FOOL.
Businessman Glen Haysman was awarded $140,000 (GBP85,000) from Mrs Rogers Films Ltd on Tuesday (28Oct08) at the High Court in London.
He had hired out his $3.25 million (GBP2 million) home in Hertfordshire, southern England, to the production company behind the 2008 film, but later claimed heavy vehicles had sunk into the driveway, and ceilings and wallpaper were destroyed as the crew went 'hell for leather' filming scenes.
Following the court win, Mr Haysman said: "I have been put through so much unnecessary stress. It has been 15 months of torment. Once they told me they'd pay for any damage they couldn't have cared less."
