BAND FROM TV RELEASE DISC

HUGH LAURIE and JAMES DENTON's BAND FROM TV is releasing its first ever album, with all proceeds going to a string of the stars' favourite charities.

Zach Levi, Bob Guiney, Greg Grunberg, Hayden Panettiere, Jorge Garcia and James Denton of Band From TV at the The Autry National Center of the American West presented by 'Netflix Live!'. Los Angeles, CA - 09.08.08

The group - comprising of House star Laurie, Desperate Housewives actor Denton, Heroes' Greg Grunberg, former Bachelor Bob Guiney, and NYPD Blue actress Bonnie Somerville - released covers LP Hoggin' All The Covers as a CD/DVD on Tuesday (28Oct08).

The small screen rockers perform tracks including Piece of My Heart, Mustang Sally, and The Letter on the disc, which was recorded at a concert in Los Angeles in 2007.

Grunberg formed the group for a one-night-only charity gig, but the Band From TV has grown into a fundraising force, raising more than $2 million (GBP1.25 million) for various charities.
