MAYBURY WANTS MINOGUE FOR NEXT MOVIE

Pop princess KYLIE MINOGUE is set for a big-screen return - after a chance meeting with British filmmaker JOHN MAYBURY.

KYLIE MINOGUE

The Spinning Around hitmaker began her career on Australian TV show Neighbours, and was last seen in cinemas as The Green Fairy in 2001 movie Moulin Rouge!

But she is slated to appear in The Edge of Love director Maybury's next project after they were introduced to each other by mutual friends.

A source tells Britain's Sunday Mirror newspaper, "John told Kylie he had started to write a screenplay and he wanted to create a part for her. Kylie was very flattered. She would love to do it."
