BUSINESS-MINDED BROLIN BUOYANT IN ECONOMIC SLUMP

Actor JOSH BROLIN insists America's current economic crisis is good for him - because he's making big bucks from his sideline career as a stock broker.

While the real U.S. President, George W. Bush, loses sleep about the recent stock market crash, the actor who plays him in biopic W is loaded.

Brolin co-owns brokerage firm Market Probability LLC, and he insists business is good: "We're up 73 per cent this year at a time when everyone's down."

Canny Brolin is also an investor in a real estate company. He adds, "I've always made more money from those gigs than from acting."
