TRUMP'S PAGEANT ROCKED BY NEW SCANDAL

DONALD TRUMP's Miss Universe Organisation has been shaken by yet another scandal - after a teen pageant winner was arrested for theft and drug possession.

Lindsey Evans - the third runner-up at this year's (08) Miss Teen USA - was taken into custody with three friends after allegedly leaving a $46.07 (GBP27.15) bill unpaid at a Louisiana restaurant.

The 18-year-old - who is the reigning Miss Teen Louisiana - faced additional charges of marijuana possession after officers found the drug while searching her purse, according to police spokesman Mark Natale.

According to a pageant spokesman, bosses at the Miss Louisiana Teen USA organisation have not decided if Evans will be reprimanded.

The incident follows photo and drug scandals surrounding the organisation's Miss USA pageant contestants in 2006 and 2007.

Evans' reign ends next month (Nov08).
