CRAIG TAKES RISKS BECAUSE BOND IS EXPECTED TO BE TOUGHER THAN EVER

DANIEL CRAIG has to risk life and limb as JAMES BOND because film fans have started to expect much more from 007 stunts.

Craig insists his predecessors had it easy because action sports and daredevil pastimes are much more extreme than they ever used to be - and Bond has to be seen to be more of an action man than filmgoers' neighbours and friends.

He explains, "How do you impress people when there are couples who go away on weekends... and camp out on top of a mountain and jump off?

"They even film it so they can show their friends.

"Everything has to be bigger, faster and more dangerous."
