AC/DC GET THEIR OWN STORES IN NEW YORK AND LOS ANGELES

Specialist AC/DC stores are to open in New York and Los Angeles at midnight on Sunday (19Oct08) to cope with the demands of fans who want to get the group's new album in the early hours of Monday morning (20Oct08).

Wal-Mart bosses and Columbia Records executives have created the AC/DC Rock Band Store in New York's Times Square and at the Hollywood + Highland Center in Los Angeles.

The stores will feature merchandise associated with the Aussie rockers, as well as the new album, Black Ice, which goes on release across America at 12.01am on Monday morning.
