FORMER MANSON BANDMATE GEIN 'FOUND DEAD'

MARILYN MANSON's former bandmate GIDGET GEIN has reportedly been found dead from a heroin overdose.

The body of the 39-year-old bass player - real name Brad Stewart - was discovered at his home in Burbank, Los Angeles on Thursday (09Oct08), according to NME.com.

Stewart performed as part of the shock rocker's band from 1989 until 1993, when he was fired over his drug use and replaced by Twiggy Ramirez.

The star then launched his own band, Gidget Gein and the Dali Gaggers, and later ventured into art and fashion under the moniker Gollywood.

The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office has stated it will not release further details until the star's family has been informed of the situation.
