T.I. LANDS GUEST EDITOR JOB

Rapper T.I. has landed another gig - as a magazine editor.

The Whatever You Like hitmaker, who is currently sitting at the top of both the U.S. album and singles charts, has guest edited the upcoming issue of urban magazine King.

He says, "It's only right that King would indeed have a King as editor in chief. I guess this is, indeed, my magazine."

The publication's regular editor, Jermaine Hall, tells MTV News, "We always intended to work with Tip (T.I.) on a bigger level. He had done (fashion section) Tag for us in the past and other sections of the magazine and always did a really good job.

"He was always thorough with it. So when we started the discussion for this issue, we saw he was taking it seriously. He really wanted to run the magazine for an issue. That was the deciding factor."

The new mag features the rapper's Whatever You Like video love interest Reagan Gomez-Preston on the cover.
