The co-creator of MILEY CYRUS' TV show is suing Disney bosses, claiming he is owed royalties from HANNAH MONTANA merchandise.
Michael Poryes filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles on Monday (6oct08), accusing executives at the studio of failing to pay him a cut of the profits from Hannah Montana movies, books and other accessories, citing the billions Disney has profited from the success of the franchise.
He is seeking almost $1 million (GBP540,000) in compensatory damages, plus punitive damages, interest and court costs, reports TMZ.com.
