Plans to keep Mexican pop band RBD alive on the big screen after they split in 2009 have been scrapped.
The group announced it would be splitting earlier this year (08) and now a film about the band's meteoric rise to fame has been axed.
RBD creator Pedro Damian admits he has given up on a swansong movie - because he can't get the bandmates to agree on a filming schedule.
He explains, "I have to say I'm a bit sad about it. Everything's up in the air."
The band is currently recording a final album.
