FIELDER-CIVIL ACCEPTS RELEASE DEAL

LATEST: AMY WINEHOUSE's husband BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL has started proceedings to leave jail and faces a strict curfew, according to reports.

Fielder-Civil is currently serving a 27-month sentence at Highpoint prison in Suffolk, England for causing actual bodily harm (ABH) and perverting the course of justice.

He has decided to accept an early release deal which will see him living with his mother in Nottinghamshire, England - something he had earlier declined to do.

Under the agreement, he will wear an electronic tag and be under a strict 7pm curfew - but will make daily round trips to visit Winehouse in London, according to Britain's The Sun newspaper.

A source tells the publication, "Amy is obviously chuffed. But more surprisingly, even her family and friends are pleased. Because Blake will have to lead the disciplined life to keep in line with his conditions of release they are hoping it will rub off on her too.

"He has to be back at his mum's every evening - and he's so jealous and controlling he won't want her up to no good without him."
