BARKER SCREAMED WITH PAIN AFTER PLANE CRASH ESCAPE

LATEST: BLINK-182 rocker TRAVIS BARKER was screaming with pain immediately after the tragic plane crash which left him with serious burns, according to a police officer at the scene.

Barker and Adam 'DJ AM' Goldstein escaped from the burning wreckage of the plane they were travelling in on Friday night (19Sep08), which failed to clear the runway in South Carolina and burst into flames.

And Barker was screaming with intense pain from his severe burns, says Lieutenant Josh Shumpert of the South Congaree Police Department, who was the second person at the scene after airport police arrived.

He says, "You could tell he was in pain.

"He just kept saying, 'That's my friends in the plane, that's my friends in the plane.' It was divine intervention that they got out. They should be commended for being able to get out and keep their heads together."

Four people died in the crash, including the pair's close friend Charles Still, 25, and Barker's assistant Chris Baker, 29.
