LOHAN + RONSON LEAD TRIBUTES TO PLANE CRASH VICTIMS

LATEST: LINDSAY LOHAN and her rumoured girlfriend SAMANTHA RONSON have paid tribute to the victims of the plane crash which left BLINK-182 rocker TRAVIS BARKER and ADAM 'DJAM' GOLDSTEIN fighting for their lives.

Barker, an ex-boyfriend of Paris Hilton, and Nicole Richie's former fiance, Goldstein, are currently being treated in a specialist burns unit in Georgia after their Learjet crashed on Friday (19Sep08) at Columbia Airport, South Carolina.

The pals, who recently performed as the 'house band' at the MTV Video Music Awards, were passengers on a California-bound plane, which crashed on take-off after reportedly failing to clear the runway. Four other passengers, including Barker's assistant Chris Baker died.

And tributes have been pouring in from celebrities who know Barker and Goldstein.

Lohan has commented on the tragedy on her Myspace.com internet page, where she wrote: "Please send your prayers out to Adam Goldstien (sic) and Travis Barker - along with the others lost in the plane crash... it's so scary to think that life can end so fast... we must all treasure each and every moment - and be thankful for what we have."

Ronson has also sent her best wishes to the families involved, adding: "I can't even imagine the pain their families must be in. Soooooo sad and I'm so sorry."

While rockers Fall Out Boy, who toured with Barker's +44 in 2007, released a statement reacting to news of the disaster.

It reads, "Our band would like to reach out and put those who were a part of this tragedy and their families in our prayers, and as well our continued support for the recovery of those who survived. It's times like these that we are reminded - in the worst possible way - to honour life. Chris (Baker) was a rad (great) guy. He always had a way to get us to smile on tour, he was truly beloved."
