ELTON JOHN: 'I WON'T DUET WITH ALLEN'

SIR ELTON JOHN has decided against collaborating in the studio with LILY ALLEN after their recent showdown onstage at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in London.

The Crocodile Rock hitmaker, 61, had been considering teaming up with Allen for a pop project - but changed his mind after their fiery war of words at the event earlier this month (Sep08).

He says, "I was thinking about asking her to tour with me and maybe even do a duet. Obviously that won't be happening now."

The duo made headlines after co-hosting the ceremony, in which the Rocket Man star sneered at Allen's excessive consumption of the event's free champagne and the 23-year-old hit back by telling him to "f**k off".
