BRUNI SET FOR A LATER DATE WITH JOOLS, MCCARTNEY AND METALLICA

France's first lady, CARLA BRUNI, will join SIR PAUL McCARTNEY and METALLICA for the superstar-studded upcoming season of U.K. music show LATER... WITH JOOLS HOLLAND.

The model/singer, who wed French leader Nicolas Sarkozy earlier this year (08), will sing tracks from her hit album Comme Si De Rien N'était on the BBC 2 show on 16 September (08). The appearance will mark her U.K. TV performance debut.

Bruni is also hoping to use an official state visit to America with her husband in October (08) to scope out possible performance opportunities there.
