Reggae star BOUNTY KILLA has pleaded guilty to using profanity while performing at a Jamaican festival earlier this year (08).
Killa, real name Rodney Pryce, was arrested in July (08) after cursing at the Montego Bay festival, charged and released on bail.
The star attended the Montego Bay Magistrate Court on Thursday (21Aug08) and was ordered to pay a $70 (GBP35) fine. He could have faced up to 30 days behind bars.
According to police reports, Bounty Killa turned on the crowd at the Sumfest festival after revellers started booing him for criticising other DJs in his lyrics.
Before cutting his set short, the reggae star hurled expletives at the audience, according to Billboard.com.
Jamaican laws prohibit entertainers from using profanity on stage.
