SNOT REFORM FOR HOMETOWN SHOW AND NEW ALBUM

Punk group SNOT reformed for a concert in their native Santa Barbara, California on Wednesday (20Aug08) and announced plans to record a new album for 2009.

The group split a decade ago after singer Lynn Strait died in a car accident, but recently recruited former Divine Heresy frontman Tommy Cummings.

He teamed up with founding members Mikey Doling, John Fahnestock, Jamie Miller and Sonny Mayo for a show at Velvet Jones in Santa Barbara.

The group has posted a new song, The Band Plays On, on its official MySpace.com page, and now there are plans to record a new album for heavy rock label TKO.
