SCREENWRITER TO PLAY HER OWN GRANDMOTHER IN WAR DRAMA

Actress/screenwriter KATE CONNOR will play her own grandmother in a new film adaptation of her family's story of survival in World War Two.

The German cabin home of the U.S. TV star's grandparents was used as a training base for U.S. soldiers during the war.

The home, situated between an army base and a Nazi/Japanese prisoner-of-war camp, became known as Fort McCoy - the title of the new film.

Pulp Fiction star Eric Stoltz will lead the cast, according to MovieHole.net.
