PERRY MADE MCCOY ASK HER OUT

Pop star KATY PERRY bagged beau TRAVIS McCOY during a lonely trip to New York City - and confesses they kissed on their first date.

The I Kissed A Girl singer met The Gym Class Heroes frontman through her producer and made him take her on a night out because she didn't have any pals in the Big Apple.

She says, "We were working with the same producer in New York City. At the end of my trip - it was just when I first started going to New York and not really knowing anybody - I was like, 'Please God, somebody take me out'.

"So I made him take me out. All his friends were there, and we ended up dancing and making out on the dancefloor."
