The MTV Asia Awards were dominated by British artists on Saturday (02Aug08) night, with LEONA LEWIS, RADIOHEAD and MUSE all taking home a prize.
The star-studded ceremony which took place in Genting, Malaysia was hosted by actor-turned-rocker Jared Leto and singer Karen Mok and featured performances from the Pussycat Dolls and Panic At The Disco.
Lewis was named Breakthrough Artist of the year, while Radiohead landed the Innovation award. Rockers Muse were awarded the Bring Da House Down prize for their 2007 Asian tour.
Other big winners at the ceremony were Linkin Park, who were named Favourite International Artist of Asia, and Panic At The Disco who gained the EDC Style Award. The Best Hook Up prize went to Timbaland for Apologize - for his hit collaboration with OneRepublic and Jared Leto's band 30 Seconds To Mars landed the Video Star award for their track A Beautiful Lie.
Asian artists who triumphed at the event included Li Yu Chum who won Favourite Artist of China, Stefanie Sun, who took home Favourite Artist of Singapore and Super Junior, who landed Favourite Artist of Korea.
