RAFFERTY VANISHES FROM HOSPITAL
Veteran Scottish pop star GERRY RAFFERTY has sparked fears for his safety after disappearing from a London hospital, where he was receiving treatment for liver failure.
The 61-year-old Baker Street singer, who has been battling alcoholism for years, was recently admitted to St. Thomas' Hospital to seek help for the booze-related health problem.
But Rafferty has now vanished from his hospital bed - leaving all his personal belongings behind.
A source tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "No one saw him leave or has a clue where he is."
Rafferty was thrown out of the posh Westbury Hotel in London earlier this week (begs28Jul08) after allegedly wrecking his room during a drunken binge.
