MORTIMER DITCHED AFTER SHAVING BOYFRIEND

Actress EMILY MORTIMER was dumped by a Russian boyfriend after shaving his moustache off while he slept.

Mortimer studied Russian at Oxford University and perfected the language by spending time in the country, where she fell in love with a local artist called Dennis.

The romance derailed when she grew sick of the facial hair he had cultivated for more than a decade.

The Pink Panther actress explains, "He had a very bushy moustache. I didn't like it, so we got very drunk one night, he passed out and I shaved it off. He woke up and was so upset he cried. He had it since he was 14."
