British rocker CARL BARAT has become the latest celebrity to call for an end to the U.K.'s knife crime epidemic.

The Dirty Pretty Things frontman believes music is the key to solving knife culture amongst youngsters.
He says, "Schools today are aimed more towards academics rather than kids interested in music."
Oasis star Noel Gallagher and Lily Allen have both expressed their concern over the number of knife related deaths in the country.
