COUNTRY STAR COLVIN TO PEN MEMOIRS

Country star SHAWN COLVIN is giving fans the chance to get to know her better - she is set to pen a tell-all memoir.

The Grammy-winning singer will release the tome, A Few Small Repairs, in the U.S. in Autumn next year (09) in a deal with publishers HarperCollins.

A representative for the company says, "In concert Shawn is known for engaging the audience and interweaving dialogue ranging from the very personal to the truly hilarious, so the book will be a natural extension for her."
