LATEST: Fears for the health of AMY WINEHOUSE are mounting after it was reported doctors believe the star has contracted tuberculosis.

The troubled singer was admitted into a private clinic in Marylebone, London on Monday (16Jun08) after she collapsed in her home in the British capital.
Tests to determine the cause of the collapse have so far proved inconclusive, but on Tuesday (17Jun08), the 24-year-old was allegedly warned by health experts her alleged drug addiction will end her life - unless she manages to kick her habit once and for all.
And now it has been reported medical experts have aligned her symptoms, including an alleged irregular heartbeat and a chest infection, with the deadly disease.
A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "Amy is in a bad way. Doctors are still struggling to control her heartbeat but the chest condition has been really worrying them.
"She'd been suffering horrible coughing fits and hurling up blood for a while but refused to be examined.
"Doctors now believe it is tuberculosis and are doing more tests to be certain."
The infectious condition is said to be common among drug addicts and heavy drinkers, as they have a reduced immunity and are more vulnerable to infection.

He said of the event, "I went to the CMT Music Awards and I got into the spirit of wanting to do something different.

AMERICA'S GOT TALENT judge PIERS MORGAN has apologised to former BEATLE PAUL McCARTNEY for introducing him to ex-wife HEATHER MILLS.

Former model CHRISTIE BRINKLEY has reportedly asked a New York court to make her divorce from PETER COOK public - to expose his behaviour during their marriage.

Cook and a law-appointed guardian for the couple's two young children are thought to be fighting the request.

SMIRNOFF IS LOOKING FOR LOVE
MARIO LOPEZ's ex-girlfriend KARINA SMIRNOFF is calling for single bachelors to become the next man in her life.

The professional dancer ended her 18-month relationship with her former Dancing With the Stars partner Lopez earlier this month (Jun08).
Lopez claims he is too busy with his career to maintain a relationship, as he jet sets between his Los Angeles home and his stint in A Chorus Line on New York's Broadway.
But 30-year-old Smirnoff is already ready for a new romance.
She says, "At the end of the day, I really want to find that certain person to spend the rest my life with. And I am totally open for that - so any single, good guys, send in your resume!"

He explains, "The greatest number of women I've dated was 12. I've had four women come to my hotel and we all painted pictures together. I was just trying to see which ones I liked the most."

WONG + BACHCHAN NAMED ASIA'S SEXIEST VEGETARIANS
Chinese singer/actress FAYE WONG has been named Asia's sexiest female vegetarian by animal rights campaigners.
The star came top in the poll by organisers at People For the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) when the results were announced on Wednesday (18Jun08).
Wong edged out Die Hard 4 beauty Maggie Q to take the title.
Meanwhile, Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan was voted Asia's sexiest male vegetarian.
