The bosses of a New Jersey packaging firm have agreed to pay $25 million (GBP12.5 million) to the survivors of the 2005 GREAT WHITE nightclub fire in 2003 and the families of those killed.
One hundred people lost their lives when an ill-advised pyrotechnics display turned a Rhode Island club, called The Station, into an inferno.
The owners of the venue, the band and managers have been held accountable for their part in the tragedy and now the company that provided foam for the venue's soundproofing system has agreed to pay up.
The survivors and the deceased victims' families have now been awarded almost $150 million (GBP75 million) in damages.
